I visited Blessed House to place an order, and while a gentleman behind the counter was assisting me, an elderly lady came out from the kitchen and abruptly signaled for him to “hold on” so she could take a phone call. He then took a full order over the phone, leaving me waiting. It was quite frustrating to see phone orders prioritized over customers who made the effort to visit in person, especially since the situation was handled so poorly. It felt dismissive and rude. Ultimately, I decided against placing an order and walked out. I won’t be returning, and honestly, I feel relieved—I’ve heard negative feedback about the menu here as well. I opted to try a new fish and chip shop after reading reviews, and I'm so pleased I went with Blessed House. When the delivery driver arrived with my order, he described it as a fantastic chippy. The chow mein was the best I've ever tasted, even surpassing my homemade recipe; the delicate rice noodles added a wonderful flavor. This will undoubtedly become my go-to place for takeaway!
