Ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwich but got a lamb gyro instead. It's 1am so I've decided to eat it anyway since I was too hungry to wait another hour for them to deliver the right order. The 1st bite I realized how salty the meat was. But I tried to eat that anyway out of hunger. But by the 3rd bite I realized there's no way I can eat this. So here I am at 1:26 am eating the only edible thing in this order, the pita bread, and writing this review.
Blimpies is hands down the best commercial sandwich shop. NO CONTEST! The bread is so soft and fluffy every time, the cold cuts are perfectly proportioned and the condiments and toppings are always in perfect amounts. Not to mention their prices are insane! We got a Large Blimpie Best Sub Combo which comes with a hugeeee sandwich, chips/cookie and a drink for only 11.99 like come onnn it doesnt get better than that!
Gyro King is a must go to spot for halal food lovers in the Bronx- Everytime I go there they offer amazing service, amazing and fresh food. It?s a lovely environment. They offer a fair variety of different options to order from. My go to order from there is the mixed gyro sandwich with a drink. They will not disappoint you. Go to Gyro King as soon as you can!
Fresh and delicious each time. The staff are always friendly and always up for a chat. I've never liked storefront halal places but this place, even for the late night craving, is more than enough! Those fries and barbecue wings are some of the best I ever tasted. Normally have the mix over rice which is great too with a hint of chick peas. Sadly no images as I was too hungry ???????????? Excellent service with a smile. Keep up the good work guys.
Hands down the best halal gyro place in the Bronx! They don't just rush it and throw things together in the box like most other places, they cook it properly and put it in the box nicely. Plus it's sooo flavorful!
The food was excellent! I ordered the honey turkey and cheese combo. Just a heads up - if you want the bread toasted, make sure to specify when you place your order.

If you haven't already, this is one of the top sandwich places to try. The Large Sub is enormous and tasty. Excellent value and delicious food.
