BLOCK HOUSE Steakrestaurant

Block House always has a pretty good standard. You can go far wrong with the steaks there, but I get the impression that they have got a bit lazy at this branch. In the high season it is almost always full, but instead of giving those who are waiting a drink (like they do at other branches) they tell you to come back in 20 minutes... And then tell you the same 20 minutes later. The service is also a bit more focused on throughout than friendliness. I'm sure their accounts department is happy, but most customers can get an equally good steak and a better experience elsewhere.

I know the Blockhaus in Frankfurt and I am a guest there for many years.The concept (its a chain of I believe around 50 restaurants in Germany and they sell their products in supermarkets is clear and its easy.Nice staff,cosy interior,a simple and clear menu.Food is always good and is perfect for if you are alone,a couple or with family and kids.So a great place to eat meat with no strange surprises. Only problem is the do not have and never had mayonaise for my french fries : But thats my problem being Dutch.So all good.

Ehrlich gesagt das beste Steak, das ich seit langem gegessen habe! Die Gastgeberin war trotz der 20-minütigen Wartezeit draußen in der Kälte sehr zuvorkommend. 4 von 5 Sternen, da es keine Möglichkeit gab, sich beim Warten aufzuwärmen. Ich habe auch die Vorsichtsmaßnahmen wegen Covid geschätzt. Das Essen war heiß und kam innerhalb von 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung am Tisch an.

This is a nice place inside, where they do nice steacks and nice burgers. Prices are allright for the area, but not cheap at all. Don't expect fresh product, you can see sometimes the staff opening plastic bags with meat inside. but not bad. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

The steaks are pretty good after all its a restaurant chain popular for steaks&side dishes! We were not very happy with the service, but to be fair it was very crowded... Prices are average (for Sylt)

Dies war eines der wenigen Restaurants in Westerland, das eine vollständige Speisekarte in Englisch hatte. Das Essen war gut, aber etwas zu teuer. Es war voll, aber der Service war gut.

Wir hatten das Steak, das nicht besonders gut war. Für die Preise haben wir mehr erwartet. Es war auch sehr laut. Ich werde nicht wiederkommen.

Ich bin mehrmals zum Geschäftsessen mit Mitarbeitern hier und alle haben die Steaks sehr genossen. es ist unbeschreiblich lecker!
