Both visits were fantastic! The atmosphere is stunning, the service is excellent, and the margaritas are out of this world. The food is delicious! It's a bit pricier than your average Mexican restaurant, but it's worth it, especially with their happy hour specials. The chips are thin and crispy, and I particularly love that the salsa is warm and smoky. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. There are no long waits for tables. The outdoor terrace wraps around the north and east sides and features fans and a small playground for children, which is a nice touch. The chips are thin and crispy, and I personally love the warm, smoky salsa. The restaurant is quite spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. There aren't any waiting areas, but the terrace wraps around the north and east sides and has fans for comfort, as well as a small playground nearby for kids. The decor features beautiful large trees that enhance the ambiance. One downside is parking, as this gem is nestled among other fantastic restaurants, including an Irish pub and an Italian eatery. My son, my partner, and I stopped at Blue Agave, and it was delicious! The cilantro rice and black beans were a little different than what we're used to, but I enjoyed them. My shrimp tacos were huge; two were more than enough for me. My son ate one taco and then just enjoyed the shrimp from the other. He had marinated pork tacos that were incredible, though the sauce had a bit of a kick to it, but he managed just fine. My partner ordered a quesadilla combo, which was quite good too. We all shared a lot of food between us—just two dishes—but everything was well-prepared and tasty!
Great Mexican Restaurant atmosphere and even better food service! We had been there pre Pandemic and the service lacking with average food; but last night was a totally different story. Victoria and Jose provided wonderful service with management checking on us to be certain everything was good. Loved the queso with ground beef and really enjoyed fish tacos with homemade corn tortillas. The chicken nachos with mounds of goodies on top were yummy filling. Would highly recommend their guacamole as well. We look forward to a return visit.
We are thrilled that we chose this restaurant! It was our first visit, and we were treated to exceptional fine dining service thanks to our server, Daniel. He was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our experience. The margaritas and food were outstanding. To our surprise, the executive chef—who is also the owner—stopped by our table to see how we were doing. We couldn't stop smiling during our time here, and even the food runner was very engaging. Thank you for the wonderful service; we will definitely be back!
We had some reservations about visiting this restaurant due to the change in ownership, but I'm really pleased that we finally gave it a try. The food and drinks were outstanding. The chef, who personally walked around the dining area to converse with guests, clearly has a talent for using spices. I thoroughly enjoyed the ceviche, and even the drinks had a handcrafted quality to them. It's great to have such a fantastic Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood.
Excellent food. First time here and definitely won't be our last as we just moved here fro Chicago. Fabulous and HUGE outdoor seating. Chips and salsa are the bomb. We had steak fajitas and fish tacos. 5 star!! All around! Special thanks to Oscar. He really took care of us. Highly recommended
I always look forward to visiting this restaurant. I've dined here for both lunch and dinner, and I'm consistently impressed with the food, service, and ambiance. During my most recent visit, the live music was particularly enjoyable.
the cucumber jalapeño margarita is delicious! it has a kick without being so sharp. I'm here to try it! the chicken and rice soup is so goouuod! absolutely recommended.
