Decided to try this place based on the good reviews and was unfortunately bitterly disappointed. Staff were nice enough and the service was fine, but the food was sub-par. On a rather small menu, 2 of the dishes we wanted weren't available; this was relatively early in the evening. Chose to have the monkfish in lobster bisque from the specials menu, monkfish was okay but the bisque was tasteless with nothing else to accompany it. My partner had the chicken, which was also poor. To top it off we ordered the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and the toffee sauce had been burnt.
the holiday in tenby always includes a visit to our favorite restaurant the blue ball. always met with a friendly smile and welcome to the wonderful staff who are very experienced in running a restaurant. Eating is always delicious and although a simple menu means that eating is always cooked to such high standards. the children's menu is also amazing with our 7 and 9 year old search to choose loose and announce that is the best to eat. we will return and thank them for a pleasant evening.
Had a fantastic meal here last weekend, my prawns were incredible, and the melted Brie my son toldMe was the best he ever had! Filet steak was delicious and what a sauce so smooth and rich. We went on a recommendation but will return next time we’re in Tenby. Thanks everyone for making it a extra special weekend.
very good food! 1 the parts were too big (I suppose not a thing for most people.) the personal is really chatting and amiable, although a little of the feet in the first night we were there. the selection of restaurants in the environment. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
one of the best meals I ever had! beautiful, cozy atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff ensured that we were satisfied with everything. the food was delicious and wished I had left a little space for dessert. highly recommended!
Lovely place for dinner in Central Tenby. I'd give it 4.5 stars if that was possible. Nice ambience, good service, broad choice on menu. Slightly broader menu choice and less salty bread it would be 5*
nice staff eating and atmosphere .and finished our meal with a delicious welsh toffee vodka. wish we had booked for the following evening ... book in advance! good it worth it
Just fantastic. I made my daughter a birthday so they ran on a flyer, but the food and the service were top-class. can not recommend very enough and we will definitely be back Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Food was not up to quality compared to prices. The area is pricey and covid will have probably affected the industry badly. The food was oily, frozen and expensive.
