I made a reservation for myself, my partner, and our son at this restaurant. Upon arrival, the place was quite empty, with only two other diners with a young child. Despite this, we were seated in a corner at the back of the restaurant. The servers who took our drink and food orders were friendly. However, our food arrived quickly and it was evident that our carbonaras were not freshly made, but instead microwaved. While our son's pizza was decent, our order of chips was forgotten. We had to remind a staff member at the bar, and they brought out a small portion of chips when we were almost done with our meals. For a bill of over £60, we were not overly impressed and may not return in the fut...
….. and the first for my hubby. We’d managed to book an early table for 4 adults and a toddler on the proviso we knew the table was booked for half one. This was plenty of time as we only ordered main meals and the delivery of meals was really quick. Staff were smart, attentive and well organised. It would have been nice to have had a check back during our meal. 3 beef, 1 lamb and Childs sausage and fries were ordered. Meat and veg were plentiful and tasty. Decor is very nice and it is a very popular place to go too despite the parking being limited
I went to this restaurant for food and drinks on a Tuesday afternoon at 2pm. There were only three other occupied tables, so it was almost empty which was fine with us. However, we ended up waiting 15 minutes for one cocktail and another 5 minutes for the next one. When we asked why it took so long, we were told "I had a few things to do." The cocktail was weak and we could barely taste the coffee, so we didn't even bother drinking it. We ended up walking out without even ordering food. Waiting 20 minutes for a drink in an empty bar? Really?
It took 15 minutes for my wife to receive her espresso martini, and it wasn't the best. My cocktail came five minutes after my wife's, and when I asked why we had been waiting so long for two drinks, the response was that the bartender had other things to do, even though the restaurant was not busy. I paid for my wife's £8.50 cocktail, but she only took two sips because it was so bad. We decided it wasn't worth the risk to wait for our food. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Just recieved my order, this is the mince and dumplings, and calizone pizza. Came stone cold, after phoning up to complain, i was told this is how its been served all day with no complaintes!!! She then expected me to return it myself so they could look at it after payin for delivery. Wot a joke, no appology either. Rest assured we wont be ordering from here again, complete joke....
Very disappointed with Sunday Lunch, Everything was cold, we paid extra for 3 different kinds of meat and portion size was disgusting Staff were very unhelpful and have no customer service. Prices what they charge and what you got is absolutely shocking We will never go back
As usual brutally honest .been here a few times now and everytime .food superb.service from the girls brilliant. I've searched to find muck or dust or cobweb I can't indicate to me very high standard of cleanliness. Give it a try you won't be disappointed
I had no stuffing on same meal I had pervious so I asked about it. Got some straight away but later saw was charged on bill for something that was missing anyway??? Bad that. These little things can really damage when ppl cheapen tnemsleves. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Love the fillet steak with blue cheese sauce I get it every Sunday and it sometimes stretches to 2 meals
