This pub is a local favorite for me, and has the potential to be excellent if they can find a good chef. Currently, they only offer food trucks on site, usually on weekends with one truck at a time. I've been told that if there isn't a food truck available, you can order takeout, but it's best to double check. One major positive is their wide selection of beer on tap, including all the main brands. It would be nice to see some craft beers added to the list. The staff is always friendly, the garden is spacious and great for kids, and there is plenty of parking. Service rating: 5, Location rating: 5.
The rooms were outdated and in need of renovation. Almost everything felt sticky to the touch. I wouldn't recommend booking if you plan on eating, as the restaurant was not operational. The beds were very uncomfortable and felt cheap. If all you need is a place to rest, this may suffice. It's disappointing because it has the potential to be better. We won't be staying here again. Would of left, but had no where else to go. Room dusty, very small bed, that was so hard we didn't really sleep. Clean bed linen and towels. Furniture missed matched and damaged. Only one bedside light worked. Floor in shower room was lifting and rucking. Loose toilet seat. Maserator toilet, so noisy! Again dusty. Could hear other people clearly. Location: 5

We visited this restaurant for drinks and loved the lively atmosphere. The service was top-notch and the location was perfect. 5 out of 5 for both!
