With high expectations we booked a table for two, weeks in advance, to celebrate our anniversary - hubby loves Mexican food! I asked on the booking,for a table in a more private spot- a bit more romantic...Sadly, our dining experience was disappointing in more than one way: No private spot in this restaurant (just 1 big dining area). No Mexican music... no music at all. No atmosphere. Both our meals were cold and lack spice and taste. On the bright side: The staff were very friendly.
We have driven past many times and thought we will check it out....how lucky we did, what a surprise it was. Nice and warm, friendly, happy, helpful barman/waiterWe had cocktails and shared a grazing platter between 3 of us. It was very tasty and we decided this is a place we will definitely visit again.
We loved the look and feel of this restaurant as soon as we walked in. Staff were attentive, friendly and got our orders right. The Mexican food was delicious and we particularly loved the platter, which gave us a way to try different things. The dessert was fabulous. We will return.

Firstly, we found this restaurant hard to find and even walked straight past it as there is no signage on the windows or footpath at street front level. Service was prompt but staff were not very experienced
We arrived late Friday night. They where happy to serve us and made the best margarita in town. The bar manager chatted to us and made us feel very comfortable.
These guys do a great breakfast and seriously good coffee. It's more of a cafe during the day. Worth a visit. Try the kitchen made crumpets, absolutely awesome
