First time eating there and I 've been in the area 24 years. My brother, and sister inlaw were in town and we decided to go there. Great choice because all in our party of 6 loved our food. The service was even better. A party of 31 was there at the same time and the servers and management kept coming to our table and expressing their sorrow for the delay in our entree 's coming out. We were grateful, but okay because we were enjoying the appetizers and our family time. The management 'comped ' the appetizers. By the way my brother who is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan loved the signed Dallas Cowboy jersey on the wall.
Good restaurant, I'm from out of town, was driving by and stopped by the grocery store. Than I saw the sign and went in. The food is good, as is the service. I had fish and chips it was good as was supposed to be), my wife had an onion soup and my kid a NY Steak. Everything was good. The price is fair. It seems to be a traditional place with good food. We liked it. Do recommend if you are like me and aren't fond to restaurant chains, and the same tasting food and don't want to pay a lot in a, fancy dinner out. You can eat here and won't regret.
The food was excellent. I ordered the patty melt, which featured a generous portion of beef—hot and delicious. The service was outstanding. Our waiter, Bill, handled a busy night with ease, ensuring we had everything we needed. He promptly addressed a minor issue, apologized, and made things right. The atmosphere seemed to attract an older crowd, but that didn't bother us. The menu offered a great variety, and we enjoyed sitting at a spacious table, catching up with friends over a wonderful meal and Bill's fantastic service!
The food was quite disappointing. I should have suspected something was wrong when I ordered the country fried steak and they asked how I wanted it cooked; in all my years, including 17 spent in the restaurant industry, I've never been asked that for country fried steak. To make matters worse, the fried steak wasn't even made fresh—it was just cheap frozen patties you can find in the frozen food aisle at the grocery store. This review is based on a single visit, as I don’t live in the area. We enjoyed the soups, which were quite good. However, the burger we ordered medium came out burnt. The dessert was just average. As for the service, it wasn't great; we had to wait quite a while to be seated, even though the restaurant was almost empty. On the upside, our waiter was fantastic—quick, polite, and efficient. The wait for our food wasn't too long, especially considering that they prepare the main dishes to order.
The food was good. I had the patty melt which came with a hefty piece of beef. Hot and delicious. Great service. Our waiter was Bill. It was a busy night, yet Bill made sure we had everything we needed. He quickly resolved a very small problem andapologized and made it right. It seems an older crowd, but that's ok. The food is delicious. There's good variety on the menualso. We were able to sit at a nice big table and visit with friends over a good meal and great service by Bill!
Overall, the Blue Ribbon Grill was decent. It has a classic bar vibe, and the Turkey Bacon Cheeseburger was quite tasty. However, it would have been nice to have more than one beer during the almost two hours I spent there. The bar staff was very friendly, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves a bit too much to give proper attention to more than two or three people at the bar.
