It was my first time dining at this restaurant, despite living in the area for 24 years. My brother and sister-in-law were visiting, and we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a fantastic choice, as everyone in our party of six loved their meals. The service was even more impressive. There was a large group of 31 people dining at the same time, and the servers and management frequently stopped by our table to apologize for the delay in serving our entrees. Our waiter, Bill, managed a busy evening effortlessly, making sure we had everything we needed. He quickly resolved a small issue, apologized, and took care of it. The food did not live up to my expectations. I should have sensed there was an issue when I ordered the country fried steak and the server asked how I wanted it cooked. In all my years, including 17 in the restaurant industry, I've never been asked that for country fried steak. To make matters worse, the steak wasn't homemade; it was just cheap frozen patties you can find in the grocery store’s freezer aisle. On a positive note, the mashed potatoes were delicious, and the staff was friendly.

I stopped by after church around noon on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy, and we were quickly seated as soon as we walked in. The interior was clean and definitely had a pub-like vibe.
