When I relocated to the NoFo, I doubted I'd ever find a place that excelled in both customer service and the preparation and presentation of fish... but I was mistaken. Blue Water Fish consistently hits the mark! Their cod for fish and chips is perfect. The prices are reasonable across the board. I rated it a 5 for seafood enthusiasts. If you're looking for fast food or a pretentious atmosphere, you should go elsewhere. However, if you appreciate high-quality seafood and know what it should taste like, Blue Water Fish is definitely the right choice for you.
My daughter and I were in the area and looking for lunch ideas, and finally settled on my suggestion to come here. She said she wasnt that hungry so I ordered her some stuffed clams. She ate half of one before saying im sorry we didnt come here sooner lol. Yes, the food was so good my 9 y.o. daughter actually apologized of her own free will. Im still stunned. I had the fried cod sandwich which was perfect. Everything ive tried here has been delicious. One of my fav spots on the North Fork.
This is an outstanding place for fresh seafood. I order takeout from here at least once a week. I can’t emphasize enough how delicious the seafood is. My top picks are the seafood-stuffed mushrooms, baked clams, and New England clam chowder. Everything on the menu is excellent, and I enjoy trying something new each time I visit. Each experience seems to surpass the last!
Had a wonderful fish and chips lunch. The batter was light and crispy. The fish moist and tender. Fries were tasty. The owner was very friendly and answered our questions. Delicious fresh seafood at very reasonable prices. Owner Tom and his entire staff knowledgeable and friendly. Best seafood in the entire Riverhead area.
The service was excellent, and the staff member who assisted me was incredibly friendly. The hamburgers were delicious—everything was great!
