This is the second time my wife and I have eaten at Blue Wave. We had a late lunch and sat outside on the balcony overlooking the pool and marina. My wife had the Mushroom Flatbread w/Pina Colada Margarita and I had the California Club w/ice tea. Both of these items were amazing. Everything was very fresh and very well put together. All you have are reviews to go off of. You can the flatbread and it not be good. Nothing is ever perfect, but I would recommend Blue Wave Bar Grill. If you're looking for a burger or fish chips, this is a great spot with good food and and a great view. But if you want more, check the rest of their menu. I had a wonderful rib steak with bone marrow sauce and chimichurri roasted potatoes. My wife ordered MOLCAJETE filled with marinated steak and shrimp, grilled green onions, roasted jalapenos, poblano peppers, baby squash, nopales, and panela cheese served with corn tortillas. Tonight we visited Blue Wave for dinner and I am so glad we did! We are staying at the Island Palms and this is their restaurant. Well, sometimes hotels don't have the best restaurants but this is an exception. Justine was our excellent server, and we had a superb experience. I ordered the fresh halibut on a bed of carrots, broccolini and garlic mashed potatoes. Wow! John had the sea scallops over some risotto. Delicious! Plus, we got a free dessert to share, panne cotta which was a mild custard served with fresh fruit. We will be back!!
Had the filet and it was perfect. The accompanying garlic taters and asparagus were tasty. It’s clean and comfortable. The server was courteous and checked the table without being called. The in-house location at Best Western's Island Palm is very convenient. I had breakfast there this morning: the over-easy eggs were spot on, bacon crispy just as I asked and the pancakes were a tasty delight. Tonight I tried the Sea Bass, it was wonderful as well. And the carrot cake shouldn’t be missed. Prices for all were reasonable.

I had a wonderful experience for thanksgiving dinner! The meal consisted of three courses: salad, turkey with cranberry sauce, potatoes and gravy, green beans and stuffing, and pumpkin pie for dessert. The salad was so tasty, the turkey wasn’t dry at all, and the cranberry sauce was so sweet! It wasn’t runny, it was on the chunky side. The service I received was exceptional. The servers (yes, plural! would check on me every so often, and they were very pleasant, always walking around with smiles on their faces!
The food was fantastic! Get the Smoked Dome Ribeye Steak, it was truly the best steak Ive had in years! The Tiki Halibut was excellent as well
Good little place to have breakfast. The Machaca was great, salsa awesome, and blueberry pancakes were fresh! : neat view too!
Amazing views we sat outside for date night server is spectacular Hugo thank you. Guys the ribeye beyond delicious
