We have been to Bluegrass many times before the pandemic, but this was our first time back since COVID. I understand the impact that COVID, staffing shortages, and supply chain problems have had on the restaurant business, and I realize that prices have gone up to reflect these issues. However, the prices at Bluegrass have now far surpassed the quality of the food, IMO. The food isn't bad (or, at least, not ay worse than I remember), but the price you are now being charged for it throws the whole value proposition out of whack for me. There are other restaurants in the area that are better for the same money or less money for the same quality. I doubt we'll be back.
First time here, drive over 30 miles to try it. Before we left, we made reservations to return the following week with my daughterâs family! Everything we tried was very good. It was a difficult decision to make our choices. Definitely start with their bread, good for dipping into the French onion soup creamy texture. We also had sesame orange shrimp, Caesar salad, copper rock salmon and crawfish etouffee, plus half slice ice box pie for dessert. We are already deciding what to try next week. I felt like I was eating in New Orleans!
Nearly perfect in every way friendly, excellent cuisine, superb cocktails, outstanding service (just the right amount of careful attention), comfortably small dining room with a little bar this is a find You'd never notice it, even if you were passing by (which you wouldn't at that location), so the great restaurant experience is heightened by the surprise. Go.
When East Texan, living in the NorthShore region, knows good Cajun and South Food, I recommend this place! Great owners who also know their southern food make it exceptional. Cooking cancers, in particular brings me the feeling of being at home. It's hard to find. You're all great! Thank you!
Great menu, amazing food service. From out of town, but highly recommended would definitely go back. I had the TILAPIA SASSAFRAS: Pecan-coated Tilapia, flash-fried, topped with a wild mushroom sauce, grilled shrimp, rice, and green beans. My coworkers loved their food, drinks deserts.
Service was great – Our server perfectly answered our questions about level of spiciness, and I wasn't disappointed. I had the jambalaya, and it was excellent without being too spicy. We were a large group, there for a team lunch, and everything was handled extremely well.
I had a great time at my first boil . Food was delicious. Loved all iterations of shrimp . Shrimp soup, shrimp garlic bread. Mmmm! Atmosphere was fabulous. Intimate place lends itself to a great time with social interaction.
menu was very extensive with good seafood selections and authentic Cajun dishes. eating was excellent, personal was very helpful. the prices were very reasonable.
