I 've eaten here many times. Normally everything is hot, and the service is extremely well... but not this time. It seems as if they were short-handed, and no one checked to see if I needed anything the entire time. I assume there was some confusion because I had to pay before I ate, as if I was getting a to go order. I knew the food would normally make up for any shortcomings. But this time they missed the mark. The bar was short of choices with only a few basic options for beers. I will try it again for certain because I know this was not their greatest hour.
Not sure what happened to this place was dirty ..ordered the moon shine chicken. The breast was so small one little strip of bacon ..was just not good ..sides ok..and they wanted 15 bucks. Rip off..waitress took out order last we saw of her until she brought bill ..was too busy waiting on a big table...should have asked for refund..but at that point why even try ...poor quality ..even the lemon pie had no flavor.
The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. My only issue was that the service was a bit slow, but to be fair, it was 1 PM and there was only one server who was doing an amazing job! Overall, it's a fantastic place—definitely deserving of 5 stars!
Friday and Saturday steak night is my all time favorite!!! The steak has always been cooked perfectly. During the week I always get moonshine chicken with either squash casserole, Mac& cheese, fried green tomatoes, greens, or side salad. I haven't had bbq like this in forever, it is absolutely amazing. I have also had their burgers and all I can say is awesome. I am picky about my coleslaw but there's is great. I honestly haven't had anything bad yet. Friendly and helpful staff, cute little hole in the wall restaurant.
The food was excellent. However, there was only one waitress, and she was doing her best to keep up with the demand.
While the place may be a bit worn, the food is fantastic. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
