Blue's Bar & Grill

The Bar menu was well planned, offering something for all tastes. The Tapas was absolutely great, good selection to choose from, well prepared and presented. Catering for vegetarians as well. The Gnocchi was delightful, thoroughly enjoyed by all of our party. We choose to dine here on several of our nights in Melbourne, due to the lovely food, good wine and beer selection, and it was easier to dine where we were staying. But if the food hadn't been good, we would have ventured out, so very pleased to find that again the Bar and Grill was worth dining in.

We were staying in the hotel so had breakfast here. Good value and nice food. A small selection in comparison to bigger hotels but enough to choose from. Not a popular mid-week dinner spot. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Waiter had to serve at the bar as well. Menu is pick a protein (beef steak, pork belly, two types of fish, duck and a veggie option), a sauce and a side/veggies for $39. You can also choose from about half a dozen entrees and desserts. We ordered an extra side dish to balance the meal. Meals were nice.

Nice food: calamari and other seafood meals! Very nice service by a lady, with Hispanic accent! Connoisseur of world football! A good option if you live in Rydges hotel and you feel lazy to walk around! Highly recommended!

There is a daily special for lunch and on Tuesdays it is a burger and drink for $15. I chose a beer and found the dining experience good. There were few diners and I got to eat and drink in quiet peace.

We had dinner in the restaurant twice and each time the food was really good. There is good selection of tapas and the steak was really good quality.
