This joint was exquisitely handcrafted. The food was as fabulous as Carrie Bradshaw. The mac and cheese was stunning! as soon as i tasted the creamy, cheesy, delight i was transported in time to 1996 when i tried my great aunt sues mac and cheese for the first time. Sue was an amazing woman, a firecracker she was! Straight from long island her mac and cheese recipe was delightful. This reminded me of that. The lobster risotto was rich and the flavors exploded on my tongue. The fries were cooked to perfection! Ask for extra grenadine if you get a shirley temple though. Large space and too loud for private conversations unfortunately. The service was decent for our private party from fresh vegetables to drinks and dinners but nothing special. The meal I had was blackened salmon over a salad and unfortunately they missed the opportunity to shine because the salmon was smoke flavored from the grill verses savory from butter and a cast iron skillet so it was dry and lacked the blackened flavor and not juicy! The salad was fresh but I left the salmon behind because it was overcooked, lacked flavor and as smoked as it was ruined it for me! Service was good but nothing spectacular; deserts were large and the drinks were average.
My family has been eating at Blvd since they opened. And we have never been disappointed. The food is always spectacular and the service.....unmatched. This particular visit our server (Jake, not from state-farm) was amazing. He was jovial, knowledgeable, helpful and timely. We ordered some food to take to our son back home, Jake boxed it up, put the sticker on it, and wrote a note, to the guy with the awesome parents. It truly made our day. Thanks for all you do, BLVD! I was on a business trip in Minnesota and came across BLVD based on the reviews, and I must say, they were accurate! I dined at the restaurant two nights in a row for dinner, and both Hunter at the patio bar and Cindy in the dining room were extremely friendly, well-informed, and attentive. I tried the burger, filet, calamari, bread pudding, and the local raspberry sour beer, and all of them were absolutely delicious! I have no complaints and highly recommend this place! BLVD was fantastic! The server was amazing, I just wish I could remember her name! We had no trouble getting a table outside, and the evening was incredibly enjoyable. The food and drinks arrived promptly and were all excellent quality!
The waitress was unpleasant, condescending, and hurried us. There was nothing exceptional that would make us want to return. The food was decent, but not worth making a special trip for.
XL dining room with an XL bar with large TVs Inviting ambiance. Dark brass lots of booths. Food was good but not great. Would go again. Nice outdoor dining too.
