I made an online order on April 29th 2023 while I was in Carlsbad (Thinking that I am ordering at the Carlsbad Bressi Ranchg location), for some reason their website took me to the Huntington Beach location, I realized that after I placed my order and got the email. I called to cancel my order, however the worker who picked up the phone told me that I placed my order with doordash which I didn't, so I called doordash and they advised that they have a business partnership with Board and Brew and anything that is placed online through the Board and Brew website goes through doordash so they asked me to call the store. I first discovered Board Brew in San Diego and it was so so so good. I was dying to know if it would still be so good. Long story short, it was. 100%. It is so so so good. We get the chicken club and Italian and maybe potato salad or chips. WHY is it so good? I cannot even describe how much I love these sandwiches. The bread, the quality of meats, flavors, literally everything is so so so good.
This restaurant is a great choice for a casual, quick, and fresh meal. It's frequently my go-to spot for lunch while running errands. Their Cobb salad is exceptional, featuring grilled chicken, a boiled egg, real bacon, and fresh vegetables. The service is fast and friendly. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5.
The Vegi Supreme sandwich was made to perfection! The bread was soft and flavorful, and it was loaded with fresh ingredients. The house-made potato salad was absolutely delicious! I get the cravings for their Veggie Supreme sandwich. When that craving hits, I have to have one! Special sauce on the side. I like it both with the wrap and wheat bread. We like grabbing a sandwich and heading to the park or beach.
The Californian sandwich is absolutely amazing—so delicious! The only drawback of this restaurant is the limited side options. The potato salad, in particular, lacks any flavor. But that sandwich makes up for it! Food rating: 4/5.
