That’s exactly what happened. I was in North Carolina and my daughter suggested we try this restaurant. First, the woman who took our order was incredibly patient and attentive. The staff preparing our meal were enthusiastic and clearly passionate about their cooking. The man in the white shirt, who I assume is the owner, demonstrated a respectful and friendly attitude toward the customers. It’s evident that they are deeply connected to the community they serve and show great respect for everyone who visits their establishment. I spent about 45 minutes observing them while I enjoyed my delicious sandwich and the time with my daughter. I highly recommend it!
Why 4 stars? The burgers and hotdogs are tasty. I have tasted better, but that is not an insult! Their food is still great and I recommend a visit to taste for yourself. You will not be disappointed. The fries appeared to be sitting in the holding bin a little too long and absorbed grease. That happens sometimes though. The hotdog I ordered was tasty as well and was overflowing with toppings. The review ratings attracted me to Boardwalk Fries Burgers and the rating hold true. The prices could come down a bit to be even more tempting to visit on a regular basis.
I'm new to the area and just decided to go outside after I saw the free funnel cake pastry display. Man, I'm glad I did it! I was so impressed by the classic burgers and the homemade fries. The funnel friars were SO GOOD, although we were cold after we let them sit while we eat our delicious food. Everything was freshly cooked while we waited and was super hot when brought to our table. I loved this experience and I am definitely back.
I received friendly and prompt service from the staff, who were all very pleasant. The food was quite good; however, I wish the ingredients on the fries were better coated. Overall, it's a great value for the price. The entrance is a bit unusual.

The staff was friendly and took the time to explain the unique features of the menu. The food was fresh, and the burgers were served on beautifully baked brioche buns. I enjoyed classic burgers and a cheese steak.
