the boathouse is always good for a Friday evening meal – close, parking and fun atmosphere. but the food is hit or missed. for example, the muddles were large; the Caesar salad was not so much – old romaine and not much dressing. the garnel of my man were perfect and generous. I once ordered sweet mais hush puppies and the oil was so old that they were almost black and burned. as I said hit or miss. our enjoyable server isabelle was hastened and very busy, but looked after us and a caregiver. we go back when we can sit in the upper bar and see the sun set above the marsh.
Was disappointed servers were not in masks. Reserved outdoor seating but was told it would be a minute wait. Full disclosure it was mentioned they could not guarantee that. Should simply take it off as an option. Management and servers were as accommodating as possible. Since I picked that restaurant for the sunset we were disappointed that couldn’t happen. Would have chosen another
My wife and I ate here for a night out while on vacation with the kids. It was great for just the two of us. Service was helpful and prompt. The valet parking was great. Not a wide variety as far as menu goes, but good food. I will say the scallop portion was a little light (only but other than that we had no complaints. Nice location, and good music on the radio
Was great but asked to add two more people to make it was told we couldn’t but when we were sat we had an extra table next to us that wasn’t used the whole time we were there. Disappointing they wouldn’t accommodate extra people that were visiting no less. Totally could have accommodated our extended party was disappointed by that but food was great

The water view was amazing. Tables were very close to each other which was not as enjoyable. The seafood was great however the green beans and mashed potatoes left a lot desired. The valet parking was a great touch
The sea bass was so salty we could hardly eat it. At it was a huge disappointment. Other items we ordered were ok. Our waiter was quite accomplished and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is lovely
Why do you sit diners ft apart during a pandemic in a empty restaurant? Your bartender doesn’t know what a MaiTai is or how to make one
they only expect to pay the tourist prices. eating is decent and they recognized the special occasion.
