The food tastes very good. I am always pretty satisfied with the portions as well. I am a regular visitor because of these facts. This is not the place to go if you are in any kind of hurry or have time constraints. I witness the waitress moving all the time and there is a bustle in the dining rooms but the service just takes long. The waitress are always friendly, conversational and knowledgeable about their menu. Often understaffed, and error prone. They are good at correcting their mistakes but hey... who wants the mistakes in the first place. I usually think that it goes back to the kitchen staff. I recommend Bob Evans strictly based on the food because the portion and flavor speaks for...
The Steakhouse Burger and Salad were fantastic! However, I was disappointed with the tiny portion of the Summer Strawberry Supreme Pie they served me. They even provided two sets of silverware, as if it were meant to be shared, which was amusing, but it felt ridiculous to pay $6 for just one bite.
They must have had a full house. When they are really busy and I get the Turkey family the cranberry relish is usually forgotten.When you get anything from Bob Evens your getting as close to what our Grandmother and Mother would make. Bob Evens is the best.

I've been in Collinsville for a while, but for some reason, I never visited this place until now. It's definitely much better than Denny's in every aspect—food, service, you name it.

Eggs were raw sent back asked for scrambled those were raw too . Potatoes where raw as well . Service was awesome
