The quintessential Quebec "casse croute", this is not fine dining by any stretch. But this place is perfect for a quick lunch or afternoon snack if you're in the area. If you've never tasted Poutine, I can't think of a better place in the Ottawa/Gatineau region to sample the masterpiece of Quebec cuisine for the first time.
This little french fry cabin as been there for ever and year ago use to go often enough maybe a few times a month... Now I go once in a blue moon and I will admit it is just as good as it was back then...Let it be the fries, the hamburgs, the pogos and hot dogs, I have always left satisfied...
Bob Patate has been around for many many years and there is a reason for that. The food is fantastic!! Since I do not eat fast food very often, when I do, I go for the very best; everything is fresh and delicious.

Notre endroit préféré à Gatineau pour des frites .... Portions généreuses, prix raisonnables, service rapide ! Attention pas toujours salées et argent comptant !
They have the best white gravy. They use real cheese curds, yumm soooo good. The have really weird looking pogos, but they are homemade and taste wonderful.
This place has been open forever and always have served excellent food. I recommend this stop to everyone who likes good fast food.
