Here in Newmilns using a local AirBnB and found this place on trip advisor. Thought we would use it for breakfast as we were only staying three days. Great place, friendly staff, prompt service. Would recommend the coffee Nescafe in a proper mug and not afraid to tell you. Good quality meat in my roll and sausage. Great value too (Roll and two pieces of proper Scottish square sausage £1.75). On a second visit had the full breakfast also great. Would definitely recommend. One a final note the home made Tablet (no not an iPad) on sale at the counter is fantastic and much better than the shop bought stuff from Mrs Tilley. Grab some to take with you.
Been to the Bobbin loads of times but never reviewed it. This is a great place for breakfasts, home made soup, paninis, sandwiches etc. They also do a good range of baked potatoes and meals. The also have a slimming world breakfast. Place is also spotless and staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
My wife and I visited here on our way from Ayr to Ashgill. We each had the soup and sandwich deal. Lentil soup was very tasty and the sandwiches were fresh and nice bread. The prices were reasonable and the staff very friendly, would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

We go walking in Newmilns about once a month and always eat here. It is only open until 3 so walk quickly! It is inexpensive,provides homely and nourishing food but most of all the staff were just lovely They also have homemade tablet!
Popped in here unexpectedly today for a lunch. Lovely soup, soft rolls and nice scone with a pot of tea. Friendly atmosphere, clean and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and will return if I’m back in the area again.
Lovely wee part of the country and an inviting little cafe. Really friendly, personalised service. Home cooking with traditional old school items on the menu. Excellent prices, will definitely return.

Everyday good food freshly made by a great team. Fresh scones on a Thursday morning, but be early, as they go quick!
