A nice suprise. I finally got a chance to try Bob 's Downtown today. I went expecting to get a what looked like a nice Poboy. That 'll have to wait for next time. What I didn 't expect was a great meat and three.<br/ <br/ I like liver. There. I said it. No it 's not popular and, therefore, finding it (much less finding it well prepared) is unusual. So, not only did I get to find a great new meat 3, but I found one that serves a superior liver and onions. Tender, not too strong with great gravy and vegetables. Can 't ask for more if you like liver. <br/ <br/ The guy with me had the fried pork chop. He couldn 't tell me how he liked it because he didn 't slow down until it was gone. 'Good stuf...
Ok. Here is how it started. I did some yard work. My air conditioner is out until tomorrow. So I said I'm going to Mobile, Alabama, and am going to walk around and check out this area. Finally came across this place. Amazing amphitheater. The staff are amazing. Thanks for the awesome service. The food is also amazing. It's probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I loved this place, the atmosphere is great it made me feel like I was in a small town in Germany again, sitting next to random people and just chatting while eating, the waitress was great and continually checked on everyone making sure everyone was good. I ordered the hamburger steak it was cooked perfectly and tasted great I wanted to try their carrots with I think honey but it wasn't for me. But all around a great visit, absolutely loved the vibes of the place.
St. Francis Breakfast. Two eggs any way you want 'em, three strips of bacon, buttery grits, conecuh sausage, and a biscuit. Very full. Perfect for brunch. Every time I come here, the food is fantastic. My new favourite place. Support local businesses! Hubby and I both got the same thing, plus sweet teas for each of us, plus tip an ' all was $25.
BayTown Bonding's Review of Bob's. Bob's has great down home cooking for under 8 bucks;cant beat it. A full meal for under 8 bucks!!! Food is made to order so it's always hot and fresh. Love Bob's Downtown Restaurant!!!!
The only reason I gave it a one star because pretty much everything have pork in it. Or I should everything I wanted.
