We needed to have a fairly quick lunch, and picked La Boca Reva mainly because of its location in Place du Mandarous (although we probaby wouldn't have done so, had we read recent reviews first!). To be fair, the service was quick and efficient, but the food (moules provencale and saucisse aligot) barely average...the moules way over-cooked but although the dish was under-seasoned, reasonably tasty, The aligot was almost flavourless, but the accompanying sausage was fine.Rather expensive for the quality offered! I suspect that corners are being cut here, and savings have gone too far and/or in the wrong direction. They've had plenty of time to adapt since the Millau viaduct's opening stole m...
This was our third or fourth lunch over a few years' visits to Millau. The central location and presence of local people is a plus and so are the salads since they use local produce and cheeses... the Carpaccio is always very nice and generously portioned as well.... the greeters are friendly... but this is one of those cafes that is understaffed -- maybe, it's greedy owners -- I have no idea -- but, in this case, the wait staff is not focused.... the waiting between courses and dessert and coffee were excruciating to me and I would have to say that I'm usually tolerant but this was excessively inattentive.... the quality and value do redeem the place... sort of averaging it out, so's to spe...
We arrived very late at our hotel and went looking for a meal. The food was average to good. It was my father in laws 90th birthday treat to take him to Millau and it would have been good to have had a real slap up meal, however because we didn’t arrive until 9pm there was not a lot of choice on the menu. He had Turkey which was overcooked and dry, he was unable to eat it. The waitress was very good and she arranged for him to have a pancake with lemon and sugar. The price of the meal was expensive and disappointing.We looked forward to seeing the fountain in the middle of the traffic isle, but unfortunately it had been switch of by the time we got there.
It was 6.30pm on a rainy sunday, we were hungry, we went in and asked if they were serving food, not until 7 the barmaid said. We took a table, ordered a couple of drinks and waited. More staff came in at 6.50, one obviously the chef. At 7 the barmaid started to make the other tables, she ignored ours and even tho it was obvious we wanted food she never came over. I then noticed someone already eating! I then checked tripadvisor and saw the comments about service, so I paid for the drinks and left. The owner or manager needs to learnt that this service does effect business, and without the customers they'll be out of a job!!

I was not particularly impressed with the appearance of this bar/restaurant but it was late and my wife and I were hungry and it was near our hotel. The food was just about acceptable but in my opinion overpriced. The only saving grace was the friendly service provided by the waitress and the outdoor seating which enabed us to watch the 'world go by'.
nice location,good food,try the carpaccio with delicious mashed potatoes! many foreigners visitors.reasonable prices.heatings for the evening when necessary. inside cozy as well. second floor present. mussels in september favorit for dinner.
Good place for a coffee and to watch the world go by but lousy for food. Lacks imagination and effort. Expensive as well. There are much better places to eat in Millau.
Random salads, correct staff, nothing special... But an awesome menu that includes a loosy english translation so lame that it worth the trip !!!

The worst thing I ever ate._If I am at home and to lazy to make a decent meal, I would still never make my refrigerator taste this bad.
