From the beginning: the phone was answered perfectly and our reservations were taken so happily and with a touch of humor. It looks nice from the outside. We have been to Bodeans on numerous occasions and always enjoyed the experience. We went last evening to have the Copper River salmon which is a great favorite of ours. We started with Caesar Salad which was a bit small, not at all remarkable, and light on the dressing. We both had the salmon with asperagus or carrots and garlic mashed potatoes. We had asked if the salmon would be grilled medium and the response was that it would be. Sadly, both the carrots and the salmon were undercooked to the extent my wife left a portion of her fish on her plate. It was less than medium, which is not to difficult to attain as I grill salmon often myself. I left half my carrots as they were actually too h...

Food good server questionable. I expected better service for the price. maybe bad server? randy forgot our shrimp cocktail- also the bread he promised to bring. it took a long time to get our drinks. other servers brought the food and refilled the water. The gulf oysters were good, (hard to find in Oklahoma) and my sea scallops and risotto great. The fried shrimp was also good. No complaints about the food. Just irritated with the server since we were the second couple in the restaurant. I tipped my hat to the lady that served the food and brought extra condiments.
Great seafood restaurant. Expensive? What do you expect for fresh fish flown in daily to Tulsa OK? For those that say they would rather go to Red Lobster, consider the source. I do miss Wilson, an excellent waiter that left several years ago. He would go in the fish market and see what was there that looked good and was not on the menu and recommend a preparation. I have not had that kind of service since then. Maybe they could get their wait staff to do that?
Constant and excellent. Whenever we want to celebrate, Bodean's is the place. Marlene, Tammi and the other servers are knowledgable and kind. My family grew up in Boston and this is where we eat seafood (and pasta) in Tulsa, the cioppino was fantastic and cheese plate came w a great variety of cheeses. The market is great, fresh and great assortment. The house made mozzarella is the best. It's worth the extra expense.
It's pricey, but my wife and I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed at all, always impressed with the food and service. If you're looking for a nice meal, this is the place.
