I recently had the opportunity to visit Bodega Manolo Cotano in Lloret de Mar and I must say it was an incredible experience. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the boss, who took great care of all the customers. His wife, in the kitchen, prepared delicious dishes that transported me to Spain. The only slight difficulty was having to queue to get a table, as there are only two of them running the restaurant. This may result in a bit of a long wait, but I can assure you it's worth it. Esta cantina atendida por su propio dueño, es un lujo. Tiene una ambientación de cantina típica de barrio, con los barriles de vino en la ventana que te invitan a chupar toda la noche. Quaint little restaurant off the main town. I had asked the day before if i needed to reserve a table was told no. When i went the next evening it seemed like they were very busy the 1 waiter was rushed off his feet. I found a table the guy explained it was a 30min wait minimum for food. Despite that i was happy to stay wait as i had heard so many amazing things about the food. I ordered 3 tapas which were served all individually due to the small kitchen only 1 staff member. However you can tell the food is (sometimes) worth waiting for as the guy had a stream of people wanting to eat here that he had to turn away. Excelente lugar para comer! Gran variedad, excelente relación precio/calidad. Atención excelente, gente hiper amable y atenta. Comimos los mejores chiporrones desde que vacacionamos por la costa brava desde hace años, y la sangría riquísima junto a la sopa de gazpacho. Muy recomendables, el lugar está muy bien ambientado y quedó pendiente probar la gran variedad de vinos que tienen.
