Went hear on a heaving Saturday night, perched at the end of the bar and watched the action as the drinks and tapas flowed. The guy who runs taking food and drinks orders out to all the tables (who has been doing this for 20 years) worked his nuts off (as did the four/five guys behind the bar). Organised chaos. Limited choice of tapas (freshly plated behind the bar) but all the stuff you want to have when having drinks and tapas with friends jamon serrano, queso, tomate con anchoa, pan de hinojo and some weird orange/pink paste. If you spend one evening in La Laguna, try and get into this place. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere and the tapas are simple and excellent. House wine comes in what look like Fanta bottles but don’t let that put you off, it is very good. The place looks like it’s been there forever with dusty wine bottles and wine casks on the walls which are absolutely covered in graffiti and people signing their names (no need to decorate! . The floor is covered in monkey nut shells and the service frantic and friendly. So good we went there twice in our three night stay in the town.
What a fantastic place , it’s the best bar/restaurant outside of Northern Spain we lived 13 years in Andalusia), those who love Jamon pasta negro); queso manchego , Cantabrica anchovies are in in for a wonderful time , oh and the Ramon Bilbao Rioja all very good value , not Costa del sol prices more like Burgos or Segovia . Advice just go and try !!!
Llevo años viviendo en esta ciudad y, aún así, no deja de sorprenderme. Ubicado justo frente a la biblioteca pública, se encuentra este lugar con solera. Las paredes mantienen frases escritas por todo aquel que ha querido, siendo la más antigua que yo he visto de los años 70.

Un buen rato en esta sencilla bodega, donde las barricas hacen las veces de mesa. Servicio rápido, eficiente y muy amable. Tabla de tapas sencillas, embutidos y quesos, acompañada de tomates y/o anchoas. Deténgase allí para tomar un pequeño descanso.
¡¡Bar de tapas con mucho encanto!! En decoración de barricas como mesa, madera y decoración realmente atípica. Las tapas son buenas, no excesivamente caras. El personal es servicial y agradable. (Habla sólo español). Yo recomiendo !
Tapas y vinos increíbles, servicio muy amable! Todo eso a precios justos, si alguna vez vuelvo a estar en La Laguna, ese es un lugar que debo visitar.
Almogrote,embutidos, mejillones, berberechos, tomates aliñados y vino con vino.Emblematico establecimiento.
