Ich hatte zu meinem Geburtstag einen Gutschein im Wert von 70 EUR, also war es höchste Zeit, ihn einzulösen, also gingen wir essen. Nach der Bestellung bekamen wir Brot/Baguettes, leichten Salat/Oliven und eine Art Knoblauchcreme, die perfekt dazu passte....: Nach der schönen Vorspeise begann ich mit der Scampi-Creme-Suppe, die bald zu meinem Favoriten wurde. Es war soooo cremig und hatte eine sehr interessante Würze (Gewürze, ich habe keine Ahnung, was sie verwendet haben, aber phänomenal. Bodulo is a small, cozy, friendly and outstanding restaurant. They deliver a delicious small plate of olives upon settling in. Our appetizer’s were prosciutto Croatian cheese. Perfect. Our first course was grilled octopus and the second a seafood tagliatelle. The octopus was grilled perfectly,...tender, moist, and no charred tail. Zunächst einmal das Positive: Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, sowohl der Fisch als auch das Beilagengemüse. Daher meine 4-Sterne-Bewertung. Meine Bewertung beschränkt sich jedoch auf ein kulinarisches Erlebnis und ein Gericht. Was den Service betrifft, habe ich widerwillig akzeptiert, dass Server in... Wien von meinen eigenen Standards abweichen können. Fair genug. Aber ich kam hierher in der Erwartung, dass ich aus 9 auf der Speisekarte aufgeführten Fischsorten wählen kann, wobei mir gleich zu Beginn (ohne Erklärung) gesagt wurde, dass ich etwa 99 Prozent davon vergessen kann und es nur eine gibt, nämlich Branzino. Had dinner there on our last visit to Vienna. The restaurant is slightly outside the center but can easily be reached by taxi (10 mins). Choice of fish is very good, cooked to your likings. We were 7 people and therefore were able to take...fish cooked in different ways, which proofed to be a very good choice. Small caveat would be the wine list, there the restaurant owner would be well advised to increase the choice of wines. As we had very good weather we were able to sit outside, which was very nice. Some noise from the street, but that was no issue for us at all.
We went to Bodulo on recommendation of our nearby hotel. The weather was perfect and both times we could sit on the roadside terrace. Not such a busy road so there was very little traffic noise and for the chill in the late evening there...were lots of blankets available. The service by Tamara was friendly and attentive. On both occasions the octopus was perfect, once in a salad and once grilled as a main course. We also had salt crusted sea bass which was excellent. We will definitely drop in when we are in Vienna again.
We came for lunch with our 2 yo daughter. The service was very nice and they were very nice to our daughter. High chair was provided. Food was delicious . Look forward to coming back for dinner. Our 2 course set lunch was 15 eur....The restaurant has a feel of greek place. There is a small terrace but as it is on the main road it's not so great.
Flavours and tastes of the Adriatic, super fresh, high quality seafood, traditional , a special occasion place, close to the Jaeger Hotel. Well patronised by the locals who can afford that little bit extra.
Horrible service, very expensive and bad food, very small portions, you have to eat three dishes to be full. The owner is rude and does not treat the clientele well.
