Ich hatte zum Geburtstag einen Gutschein über 70 EUR und dachte, es wird Zeit, ihn einzulösen, also gingen wir zum Abendessen ins BODULO - Fischrestaurant. Nach der Bestellung bekamen wir Brot und Baguette, einen leichten Salat mit Oliven sowie eine Art Knoblauchcreme, die perfekt dazu passte. Nach dem leckeren Gruß aus der Küche begann ich mit der Scampi-Cremesuppe, die schnell zu meinem Favoriten wurde – sie war unglaublich cremig und hatte eine spannende Würzmischung, deren genaue Gewürze ich nicht kenne, aber sie war phänomenal. bodulo is a small, cozy, friendly and excellent restaurant. they supply a delicious small plate of olives while using. our appetizers were prosciutto Croatian cheese. perfect. our first cure was grilled otopus and the second one a seafood tagliatelle. the otopus was perfectly grilled. slenderly moist and no carburized ****. the seafood pasta was a deeply tasteful combination that tasted from the sea. a breathtaking court. our main course was snuggle and a second dish of grilled calamari. both are perfectly executed. as a delicious meal as I could imagine. we also had 3 glasses of a wonderful Croatian red. the entire meal with a pointed amount was 120 €. I had a good 70 eur for my birthday, so it was high time to use it, so we went to dinner. after order we received bread/bugs, light salad/liven and a kind of garlic cream that went perfectly with the former: after the nice start, I started with scampi cream dinner, my favorite real soon, it was soou creamy and had very interesting seasonal (pictures, I have no idea what it used but phenomenal. then we ordered a mixed plate for 2 of these: “Bodulo” crustaceans and fish plate “Bodulo”. We were recommended this restaurant by the concierge at our hotel. We were a bit skeptical because we did not see this restaurant in the top 10. Our experience was truly outstanding. Tamara recommended our dishes as the menu is in German. For starters we...had a seafood sampler which included sea scallops, shrimp, and octopus. Everything was simply divine. We ordered the salt crusted sea bass and monkfish. The presentation of the sea bass was so interesting that I recorded it! The monk fish was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were the perfect compliment. Ich war im Rahmen der Vienna Restaurant Week hier zu Gast. Als Vorspeise gab es Lachs-Tatar, danach Fettuccine mit Garnelen – einfach zum Verlieben – und zum Schluss Branzino. Die Gerichte waren hervorragend. Was das Restaurant jedoch besonders macht, ist der Service. Es scheint familiengeführt zu sein, was man sofort merkt – man fühlt sich fast wie zu Hause bei Freunden. Zwar liegt es etwas abseits vom Stadtzentrum Wiens, aber der Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Ich hoffe, dass nicht allzu viele diesen Geheimtipp entdecken.

So definitely worth while of heading to Vienna’s 17. district and enjoying what the Bodulo has to offer!
This restaurant is a distance from the city center but well worth it. A mixture of refined fish (shaved poached monk fish on baby spinach salad) and grilled branzinno on a decatible carrot puruee with olive oil. The owner came out after the rush to...make sure was all okay. I find it hard to believe that they can have this quality in a 9 square meter kitchen. It’s a mixture of really good food and family run.

We were recommended this restaurant by the concierge at Sans Souci and it truly was a great experience. Food was fresh, tasty and the service was great. They didn't have an English menu but this was not an issue as the recommendations they suggested were...delicious. The owners were very polite and helpful. The restaurant is a bit further out but easy to get to by taxi.
