We had an exceptional dining experience at Bodysgallen Hall. The attention to detail in both the service and food was outstanding. I started with the velouté, followed by the sea bass and finished with rhubarb. Each dish was presented with delicate precision and the flavors took me on a journey of delightful aromas. The service was just as impressive, with careful attention to table setting and the polite manners of the servers making us feel welcomed and special. We took advantage of the beautiful summer evening by exploring the gardens and finding the kitchen garden where much of the produce for our meal was grown. It was a delicious evening and we can't wait to come back and try more dish...
Had the best Sunday lunch in my 60+ years. The warm greeting, drinks and appetisers in the comfortable lounge bode well for our meal. Had the smoked salmon for starters with a choice of breads, followed by the Conwy lamb which was simply divine. Finished off with a refreshing rhubarb parfait sorbet. The staff were attentive, especially the receptionist and drinks waitress who noted it was my friends special birthday, which she obvs relayed to the chef as he’d written on her sweet plate. We were invited to walk the gardens on our way out, an ideal ending to a lovely afternoon. Highly recommend!
Thank goodness there is still a place like Bodysgallen that maintains excellent standards. So many other places in the locality make you feel like you are dining at either an awful dog walkers cafè or a children's crèche! We have been coming to Bodysgallen to dine for years. It is so reliably good, there are no unpleasant surprises and the dining experience is always a top class experience, both with the food and attentive service. Please keep up your wonderful high quality experience.
From the check in to departure this was an excellent experience. Friendly attentive staff and a beautiful view from a well appointed room. We dined in the restaurant on each of our three evenings and enjoyed all the menus very much. Perfectly cooked and expertly presented. Breakfasts were also of a high standard with continued efficient service. The gardens and grounds are well worth a wander around. Not cheap but for a special occasion highly recommended. I am so thankful for the opportunity to revisit Bodysgallen Hall. This was our first visit to this lovely place since the pandemic. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and even remembered us after over 2 years. The food and wine were both fantastic, and we enjoyed walking in the beautiful gardens on a surprisingly mild evening for the season. We are already looking forward to our next visit, it was truly amazing!
We had an amazing dining experience at Bodysgallen in July to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The meal was perfect, the food was excellent with attentive service, and the setting was gorgeous with stunning views of the gardens. To top it off, we were surprised with a cake to celebrate our special occasion. This restaurant is truly wonderful.
Beautiful accommodation, relaxing spa and friendly professional staff. Visited for a overnight spa stay for a special birthday. Evening meal was amazing and the accommodation was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful
The cooker knows what he is doing. excellent cuisine , smooth atmosfere , and there is one table in special where in the evening you can have a direct view to the Conwy Castle while you drink a good glass of Argentine wine in the light of a candelabra. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The only thing to recommend Bodygallen hall is the medieval part of the house, the 13century tower and the grounds. The rooms and food is just “tired”. Staff service is poor— they do not help you! I wont go back. Onto Palé Hall, next time.
