I went twice to this restaurant. the first I ordered a hamburguer and I noticed that the ingredient options were quite limited. For example there was no cheese in mine but good their specialty, these are the ribs then the second time I followed the advice of my friends connoisseurs of the place and I ordered ribs with bbq sauce. It's true that it was a little fat but very good. in addition to my left a giant screen with sport and the time spent with my friends made my visit to the fantastic bofinger. I bought a "two meal" on a site of Cubans, $20 instead of $40. for this price it was a swell. pulled pork, sausages, ribs, chicken wings, all smoked. The taste was very good. also a-coated them, either the beans with the "south-west" type, the fries and the cabbage salad (I didn't like the cabbage salad so much, but it's a personal taste.) it looks like there were no staff. I gave my coupon to the lady and she had to call me when my plate was ready. After half an hour, I figured there was a problem. She had "forgotten" me....Before going to the boucan on Our Lady before, I had no choice but to compare. To my taste the boucan is better, but also a little more expensive. to you to choose.
this bofinger restaurant is located in the heart of downtown. the decor is pleasant with some benches and a space with raised long tables completes all. I was surprised to discover a concept similar to subway. the order is made at the counter and the accompaniments are added to the chain. For lunch, we opted for the fried pork sandwich with fries and texas sauce. the portions are very generous. fries are tasteful and good despite their somewhat strange appearance. I would not advise this place for a business meeting or to go regularly (for the good of your waist tower.) it is a pleasant and perfect atmosphere for a 5 to 7 or a small meal with friends during the week.

Being the stereotypical American I was feining for some BBQ food. Probably other BBQ shops in the city, but for some reason every time I stay out in MontreaI go here. Could be the location since its usually so close to the hotel that we generally stay at. The beef ribs are pretty good and they give a variety of sauces to brush on the ribs. The mac and cheese is a pretty good side to shoot for also. The menu is a little pricey and the beers are too, but the service is pretty good and the food comes out pretty quick. My review probably a little bias since I'm from the states , but in all its average to good.
I am a chili freak and have tasted some really good ones but the Chili at Bofinger was by far the worst I ever had . I even had chili from a can that tasted better while I was in the Canadian army during the 80's .It tasted as if the beans that were caned were not even rinsed off it had this horrible salty gummy taste that made this chili inedible. I only eat two disgusting bites and gave up. Please do yourself a favour and go else where such as Burger de ville. Even Tim Horton's chili is way better.

The plate we purchased consisted of hard...dried out ribs ...tasteless sausages...canned beans...patato salad that had taken on the smell of whatever was in their fridge and a poor excuse for coleslaw .

the pulled pork was moist but not greasy. Delicious. The poutine also a good bet (although pricey)
Everything was great, except for the potato salade. The potatoes werent cooked enough though.
