This reminds me of One or more of the high-end coffee boutiques with its selection of dark brews or lighter one. This is complemented with a broad selection of edibles from biscotti to brownies. I drink my coffee black, so without modifiers it is easier to know how coffee tastes from roast to roast and location to location. The dark roast that I had was good, however, it lacked the rich and earthy notes that I prefer. For me, it was a little on the weak side, but I'm one who likes to chew on richly-roasted coffee beans. We stopped here on an impromptu road trip through Lindsay. My husband enjoyed his coffee and my gluten free zucchini muffin was delicious. The only unfortunate thing was their main garbage can is right beside the counter where they keep the self-serve cream, sugar, honey etc. The odor coming from the garbage was horrible, it was like a dirty diaper had been popped in there. We enjoyed our snack and beverage outside however. The coffee and food quality are great.
Stopped here on an early November Saturday while in town. They have a huge selection of specialty drinks. Both hot and cold. I was impressed with the ginger spice latte I ordered. It was a cool day and this was very nice. We loved the atmosphere. There were lots of students sitting around working on laptops. It was nice and quiet for doing that sort of thing. If you need a break during a hectic day, try this place out. You won't be disappointed.
I visit Boiling Over daily and I am never disappointed. They provide friendly efficient service with attention to detail. The coffee is always fresh. I really enjoy how they offer seasonal items such as the Peach Tea Lemonade currently for June. Always happy to support a business who is helping to create a more beautiful Kawarthas. I always enjoy going to this cute and quaint little coffee shop in Lindsay. I always have a great experience with the staff. Always friendly. It's a great atmosphere for meetings, or just going in to enjoy a book and some coffee or hot beverage. Highly recommend checking it out if you get a chance
During one of our cycling trips, we ended up here for a coffee and for refuelling. The outdoor patia was comfortable and convenient. The drinks we ordered were good, the amenities were awkward to access when you are in bike shoes, and the staff were average. Nothing too terribly remarkable.
A lovely coffee shop with casual seating and great service. The medium roast coffee was one of the best cups I've ever tasted. There were sinful desserts as well. I thought the prices were very competitive BUT the counter staff was much better than other coffee outlets.
