I was at the Co-op in the Village the other day to purchase some items and as I was walking by the Produce Department I noticed how everything was so beautifully displayed. There was an aesthetic appeal that actually made me stop and look around. I mean, I've purchased produce from the Co-op since the North End Co-Op on Hill Road... but this experience where the ambiance of Produce caught my attention occurred because everything was placed so perfectly, the colors were so bright, and the products were so fresh! What a poetic experience. I also noticed happy employees giving attention to details and available to answer questions. I just want to say your Produce Department is stellar!! Variety...
We buy a lot of food at the co-op. They have great meat, cheese, dairy, and local products. We enjoy it! We’re there at least 3 times per week. One area of the store that we’ve been extremely disappointed with over the last several months is their produce. They can do way better. Every time we buy onions, avocado’s or anything where the quality is concealed until you cut it open, we find mold or decay. Yes we know how to look for good produce. We were at the co-op today shopping for various items, including red bell peppers and onions. What we found out for purchase was astonishing. We are willing to pay top dollar for food where the quality is indicative of the price. For $5.99/lb I wouldn’...
I love the village co-op except today. Bought my 1st pre-made pizza. Followed directions to remove from cardboard before cooking. However it was so stuck we couldn't. So baked it 10 mins. Hoping it would release, but it wouldn't. We basically slaughtered it trying to get it onto a metal cookie sheet. It is a mess. It's not baking very well. So much for a stressless dinner It should be on a waxed cardboard not boxed cardboard. Wish i could send pics of the mess, really disappointed. Feel like I'm should get a refund.
I've been a Co-Op member for nearly 20 years now. When the Village location opened I was thrilled to have an option closer to home. Love the selection and atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The beer aisle is my favorite part of the store and I love that it keeps growing and growing. Cheers! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
It's one of my favorite places to find something special... something more grown local/produced here in the Treasure Valley. The produce section is vibrant, and the staff is so helpful. And, they carry Farmers Microgreens, which I LOVE! The bakery is full of yummy treats!
We liked the organic items that are more difficult to find at our other stores. I became a member for the once a month 20% off locally produced items including coffee roasted here in Boise, and our once a month 10% off other items.
I want to recognize El in the coffee bar for being spectacular. On two separate occasions now, she's gone above and beyond to help me. El is a valuable member of the Co-op team. Definitely hold on to her!
