On a recent trip to the southwest coast of France we took a day trip by car to San Sebastian. We discovered Bokado which sits on top of the aquarium and provides for spectacular views of the town and harbor. Once located in the restaurant we had a table outside, covered by an arbor type of shade but the warm sun and lack of humidity provided for a perfect and relaxing environment. It's heaven sitting on the covered terrace at lunchtime looking across the blue water of the bay to the old town of San Sebastian. And the food, wine and service all match up to the stunning view. An absolute must for any serious foodie.

I only know the bar, but it's great to have a drink or whatever with the views of the bay. The restaurant looks fantastic, but I haven't had the luck of eating, they ate me. Then a ride through the urgull mountain and ready.
Great place located in Jacques Custeau plaza over the the aquarium of San Sebastián, where you’ll have the opportunity to try a very traditional dish from that region called kokotxas of merluza. Delicious. A must.
