The sopa de Mani is exceptional, highly recommend getting it!! It has authentic flavor, it’s not too dense but it’s filling in the best way. (I ordered vegetarian) The vegetarian salteña however, I’m surprised by all the rave reviews about it. It had this red sauce/ filling that was unusual in flavor and the dough (my favorite thing about eating Bolivian salteña) was nothing like an authentic salteña. It tasted fried? And was flaky in a way it shouldn’t be. I couldn’t eat it, and unfortunately had to dispose of it. I’m very familiar with Bolivian cuisine from all over the country but wouldn’t recommend the salteña. I’ll be back for the soup.
Nothing like a warm salteña. I just came back from picking up my 107th salteña and soup combo. I’m such a regular and the staff knows me so well that they hand me my pick-up immediately, even if there’s a long time. Love the staff there! I also get the quinoa salad with chicken and avocado. Matcha drink is a must! Yum! I’m blessed this place is so close to me. It’s delicious and well portioned. Thanks!
such delicious and authentic bolivian food! plus great, warm service from berto. i had the chicha chicken bowl over salad and we shared some salteñas. chicken thighs were so juicy and flavorful and it was great to have a healthier option. salteñas were bursting with flavor literally! i will definitely be back.
Amazing food. Love love love the salteñas (chicken was my fav), and the fried chicken is out of this world. The sauces that came with both were to die for: the green salsa picante was FIRE and the llajua mayo is so so so good. Berto, our server was very nice and helpful. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Got the beef saltenas, a bit over $6. Crunchy slightly sweet exterior, tender soft filling. Kinda like beef stew. I think the wrapper is made from corn. Green sauce was also good. I do feel it's a bit pricey for what you get. Overall I'd give it a 8.5/10.
Salteñas smacked. Juicy and filled with meat. Tried their truffle fries as well and were pretty good. Veggie soup was really good as well as a side. Spent about $35 and left full for the entire night. Only outdoor seating or takeout.
Oh, why oh, why is this not expanded?!?!?! Absolutely a hit and go spot with the most delicious, succulent food. Drove almost an hour for their famous saltenas... and I'll do it again and again.
Their Mac n Queso is soooooooo yummy so so so delicious, and the fries are AMAZING, especially the seasoning and dressing of the fries are super creative and delicious Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The bad: very uncomfortable to serve yourself in the place, cold without windows, very poor.
