the restaurant smells amazing when we opened our car doors. we went in and there was no standing. confident we waited to sit from the door. a brisk through the restaurant from the open rear door. a woman soon approached and sat down, she brought us water and took our order immediately. during our experience here she was very friendly, helpful and polite. we waited for our food about twenty minutes. that waited was worth it. our food was fragrant and delicious, and the portions were generous. I had the herbal corma with garlic naan and my friend had the mother mushroom with bombay naan. overall a pleasant experience. We have ordered them quite often in recent years, usually take and they have never failed to fulfill the exceptional quality service. It's sometimes hard to keep them over the phone, but for many reasons, this can be especially busy with din-in-guests. No matter how we don't make the waiting period or get the order because your food is worth it. They prepare order for detail. It is worth spending every penny!
This is my favorite restaurant in Auburn. Since I tried them, my favorite food has shifted from pizza to tikka massala. It's the best comfort food I've ever had. I've had a few problems making mobile orders where they didn't agknowledge my spice selection and I missed out on the Indian spices, but their butter chickens are some of the best foods I've ever tasted.
By far our favorite restaurant in Auburn. We always struggle with deciding to order our favorites (chicken makhani and garlic naan for my husband, saag choley and roti for me, and vegetable pakora to share) or to branch out. bombay has a few veggie dishes, so we're going there a little bit. the it is really hard to find veg food in alabama, so we take everything we can get. there are only a few places we can eat in the city, and bombay is one of the best. but if we lived in chicago, I would probably never go there.
absolutely love this place, eat and service is always fantastic. Portions are beautifully dimensioned and expensive. I never feel like I was wasting money when I came here and would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know and even strange.
There are good Indian foods, there are authentic Indian foods, but the food in the Bombay Grill is a pleasant combination of both. It is delicious everywhere, and the owners are super sweet. Very recommended!
