I ordered the ribs and BBQ chicken combo, but when I opened the foil the baked potato smelled funny. I thought maybe it was just me, so I ate it anyways. However, the ribs had a strange smell too, so I only ate a few bites. The presentation of the food was not attractive and the furniture was dirty. The floor needed to be vacuumed. If it wasn't for the other customers enjoying themselves, I would have left without ordering. The server was polite, but overall I would not recommend this restaurant or return. The Texas toast was cold and tough, and the salad consisted of a boiled egg, two slices of tomato, and cucumber.
The restaurant was stunning. We were welcomed by a very hospitable man and seated promptly. Our waitress took a little while to attend to us, but we didn't mind waiting. The cottage fries only had cheese on one half of the plate, but the portion with cheese was scrumptious. The side salads were tasty, especially with the delicious ranch dressing. However, the ribs, which were the main reason for our visit, were disappointing as they had a lot of fat and were quite dry. On the bright side, the BBQ sauce they used was fantastic!
This food was so good! We ate so fast didnt even think to take pics! But even more the staff was amazing! From the time we landed in Detroit due to a close death in the family, we had bad experience after bad experience all within a 6 hr time frame. By the time we got here we were exhausted and annoyed and immediately the staff was accommodating, nice and compassionate. I can't recall when we had an experience like this. We thank yall so much and will definitely return when we come back to Detroit. Peace and blessings
My wife and I ordered the ribs at this restaurant, and they were absolutely terrible. They were tough to cut with a steak knife and extremely salty. The sauce lacked flavor and the overall dish was very disappointing. The pulled boar was drowned in a overly sweet sauce that masked any other flavors. I have eaten at many restaurants in this country, and this was by far the worst meal I have ever attempted to eat.

I love this restaurant and could eat here every day. My go-to dish is the chicken and shrimp combo, but I have also tried the ribs which have a great taste, even though they're not fall-off-the-bone tender. The staff is always super friendly and the portions are huge, so it's best to share. There's always enough food to take home. They have over 30 parking spots and are wheelchair accessible.
This restaurant has the best BBQ around! My family absolutely loves Bone Yard BBQ. We have been loyal customers for years and will continue to come back. One of our favorite items is the Family Meal which is $52 and includes a generous amount of food. It easily feeds a family of 5 with leftovers.
