Best tacos in Tennessee! My husband and I just moved here from Los Angeles and we've been so disappointed by the lack of authentic and good Mexican food in town. Then we found So-Cali Tacos and we now crave the shrimp tacos every week! The women who run the front are very kind and always make us laugh. Last night we ordered during what seemed to be their takeout-rush and our food took a little longer than normal and they gave us some free queso and apologized for the wait! What incredible service! We went to this restaurant last night and ordered the chile verde burrito for my husband, who really enjoyed it and said it was very flavorful. I tried the carnitas street taco, carne asada street taco, and the fish taco, which was the standout of the three. The fish taco was filled with plump, juicy shrimp and topped with a delicious sauce. We also shared a chicken tostada, which was decent but not outstanding. The highlights of our meal were the fish taco and the chile verde burrito. We definitely plan to come back and try more dishes. The staff was friendly, there was ample parking, and the portions were generous for the price.
The food at this restaurant is pretty good, served in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. I tried the shrimp tacos and the Birria tacos, along with some chips and cheese. The chips and cheese were tasty and fresh, but the portion size was a bit small for sharing. The shrimp tacos were generously filled and I liked that they didn't skimp on the ingredients. While the flavor was just okay and not my favorite, they were still enjoyable. The Birria tacos, on the other hand, were delicious and everyone in my group loved them. I would definitely consider returning just for the Birria tacos.
Decided to stop in here for lunch while visiting the area, as we're considering relocating from SoCal to Murfreesboro. SoCali Tacos did NOT disappoint. The food was just like back home in CA. The salsa/guacamole were both great. Everything we ordered was fresh well cooked. Definitely nice to know there's a slice of home all the way out in TN.

I was thrilled to discover a restaurant that serves amazing Mexican cuisine! As someone from Phoenix, it can be difficult to find authentic options. I tried the ground beef nachos, a shrimp taco, and a chicken taco, and they were all delicious. I can't wait to visit again soon.

Tried this place the 1st time on NYD. Their Pastor tacos with rice and beans are really good. Found out it was a family own business. Family moved from Cali to the Boro. Sisters provided great service.
Clean, clean, clean. I called ahead, I got to shop before my time and they were wiping the tables, sweeping and mopping the floor. Good was excellent, love the shrimp tacos.

Both Asad and Shrimp Tacos were great but the Shrimp... ooooh weee so good!! They gave me plenty tomatillo sauce too. Loved my first experience! ??????
Excellent California style Mexican food. Great staff too. There is a reason they have almost all 5 start reviews! I love their burritos!
