For the hype that I heard for this restaurant, the experience was mediocre at best. While the server was pleasant, she seemed to be in a rush, though rightfully so as they were busy. My main issue revolves around the food, which was for the lack of better words, basic meals wrapped in fancy words on the menu to make it not only sound appealing but also overpriced. Mussels were better than other dishes we ordered but sourdough bread was rock hard to eat as we tried enjoying the mussels. Caesar salad was dripping with too much sauce while lettuce wasn't dried and wetness made the sauce worse and croutons were burnt. that was my first visit to be asked boom and I was so happy with everything. the service was great, the food was excellent, the plan was beautiful. during the dine Around program of our city (menu for a specific price) this was the ideal time to try a place I wanted for a one. we sat at a table with views of the water and that set the ton for the evening. Beautiful vegan options on the menu and the server was knowledgeable and friendly.
One of our favourite restaurants in Victoria; beautiful, relaxing views, and equally relaxing atmosphere, with low-to-medium noise level which doesn't distract at all from our table talk or enjoyment. The food is very good, but some of the desserts are a bit overpriced. Lovely ambience, excellent service very professional. We have been many times and will continue to do so.
The food was delicious as usual and the room was vibrant at full capacity! Our server JD was excellent. Love the tuna tetaki and ceaser salad starters and the scallop and mushroom risotto is a must!
