This place was AMAZING. One of only 2 pintxos bars we went to twice it was that good, definitely in the top 2 of the 12+ bars we went to over the course of our trip to Basque country. It's always crowded (well deserved) and the servers are a bit brusque but we found that fairly common in San Sebastian. The highlights were the pigs ears (oreja), veal cheeks (carrilla de tenera), salmorejo special (if it's on the menu GET IT), and the pork rib (costilla). So, so good. Closed on Sundays.
Es un buen sitio para tomar algo a media tarde, si vas con perro perfecto porque en la campa pueden correr un rato sin molestar. Las patatas ración generosa y bien de precio. Los calamares mejorables pero están bien. El entorno agradable y el dueño muy amable. Si hace buen dia ideal para pasar un rato agradable entre amigos.
The Entrecot was the best I have ever had in my life and I can tell you that I stood in line in Bordeaux to have the famous Entrecot at the L’entrecot restaurant. But the one I had at Borda Berri was muuuuch better! And don’t even get me started on the scenary. It is amazing!
