I love Mexican food from Mexico and I love Mexican from not Mexico. Tried Beef Birria to go, as I wanted to extend the better Mexican food in the US. First time at Bordertown Mexican Grill, they have glowing reviews both on google and yelp. TBH, it 's more like a generous 3.5 out of 5 for me. The protein is generous for a $20 USD to go entree. However the beans were mush and the rice was in in warm mode for a long time. I appreciate the red/green sauce that was offered, however it was not enough considering the sauces weren 't potent enough to be effective. Went across the border for less expensive gas and decided to get a quick bite to eat before heading back. I am so glad I did. I had the mixed taco plate and I was not disappointed. It came with refried beans, rice and three street tacos (asada, carnitas pescados). It took me back to my favourite holiday place, Mexico. They have an extensive menu and it may take awhile to cook up on their busy days but is so worth the wait. My Spanish is horrible but the staff and I made it work when I asked if I could pay by credit card. I haven't had a chance to practice the little I knew before Covid. By the way you can pay by credit card, debit or cash. I would definitely recommend and even let the office...
The food at this restaurant is fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the Deluxe Burrito and the Horchata. The standout dish for me was the Pico de Gallo with the Chips. My only complaint is that the chips are not complimentary, unlike at other Mexican restaurants, and the portion size was quite small considering we had to pay for it. Despite this, I understand that it's a business decision. It only took my group of four adults and a child two minutes to finish the chips. We were unsure if we could request more since it wasn't mentioned. Despite this small hiccup, I would definitely return to this restaurant when I visit Canada again.
Been meaning to try Bordertown for a while. We have a handful of good spots in Bellingham, so was eager to try, esp having spent years in SoCal and the SF Bay area, with some time in SD too. Bordertown's food was top notch! I had to pay my compliments to the guys on the grill as we left...will MOST DEFINTELY return! I had the fish plate and she had the birria...both were delicious! Prices were good; sizes were good too (had a midnight snack . Outdoor seating...casual. Dope spot.

Was at the park with the kids in Blaine and decided to try this place out. Kind of a hot little locals joint as there was a little bit of a line. But we got a chicken burrito and some chips and salsa and it was fantastic. The staff was super nice as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some good Mexican food. I don’t think they have any inside seating but they do have outside and you can obviously take it to go.
This is a great spot to dine and relax outside when the weather is pleasant. The food is surprisingly good for a small town near the border. We visited on Black Friday and it was quite busy due to the sunny weather, which resulted in a slight delay in getting our orders (about 20 minutes). An added bonus is that it is conveniently located next to a Starbucks, so many patrons enjoy food and drinks from both places.
This place is one of the best burrito restaurants I’ve been to. They have many dishes and are all scratch made food. Great flavor and quality products. Generous portions as well. Only outside seating is available as this is a food truck that has built a building for the kitchen. Great atmosphere to enjoy a meal.
Excellent Food, Great People, Always a favorite. Pricing on food is low here, considering the current huge cost hike from lack of distribution everyone is experiencing. Anyone giving this place less than 5 stars needs their head pulled out and examined. This place is consistently great.

Wow. Food was delicious. Walk right up to the window to order and pick-up. People were friendly and helpful. My son was interested in the horchata and the woman was very willing to explain what it was to him. Lots of outdoor seating.
This is the top taco truck you will come across!! The service is exceptional and they are always quick with orders. Their street tacos are incredibly delicious - I would choose to eat here over any other place in Washington.
