Here’s what we ordered: spicy sausage stuffed peppers – delicious! A generous portion of marinara sauce filled with cubanelle peppers stuffed with house-made sausage. Then there was the homemade meatball appetizer – absolutely yum. Next came the Borgata chicken wings (both buffalo and spicy garlic) – incredibly flavorful, we found ourselves dipping our bread into the leftover sauce. Interestingly, it seemed like the spicy garlic wings were a blend of buffalo flavor. I ordered online and thought that the meals were a bit pricey, but then I ate the food and glad that I went ahead with my order. I got the Tuscan style cavatappi pasta with chicken. There is enough food for at least 3 meals! It also comes with the side of garlic cheese bread, also enough for 3 people. I got the cannoli for dessert. They are large and made fresh upon ordering. The buckeye cannoli is amazing! All of the food tasted great, and it was definitely worth the price once I saw how much you actually get with your meal. I really enjoyed the sauce and cheese on the pizza. We also ordered the caprese salad, which was fresh and heaped with a large yellow heirloom tomato. I was very impressed by the service as well. The owner came over to check on us, and our server was both efficient and friendly. The rest of the staff was hard-working, helpful, and even shared a few jokes with us. We will definitely be back, and I’m excited to try some of the homemade pastas and meatballs next time! Just a note: as a native New Yorker, I find it hard to approve a Midwest restaurant claiming to have New York-style pizza. This pizza place was super friendly and patient as I decided on my order for take out. I love the unique design. The big kitchen and small dinning area are all open. Leaving no secrets. I ordered a three cheese white pizza on gluten free. That comes with mozzarella, feta and ricotta cheese. I omitted the oregano sprinkle. The pizza was very tasty! Heads up, if you like a crisp crust tell them to leave it in longer. The crust was in between thin and thick. It comes in 12 . Precautions were taken for cross contamination. Great spot for pizza in Columbus! Get pizza from here more than anywhere else in Columbus. The pizzas are fantastic. When there's several of us, I'll order the large pizza and get it double cut perfect for sharing. Have tried a few of the pastas and they're good as well. The pasta portions are quite large! I've never finished it in one night. Lots of options to create your own and get whatever you're in the mood for. May have just been happenstance but have tried both locations and this one seems superior. Great place for good pizza in Columbus (which isn't the easiest to find). Recommend checking out Borgata!
My husband and I stopped by to dine in when visiting from Michigan. We chose it based on other Yelp reviews and they did not disappoint! Not only was every single staff member very very friendly and helpful, but the food was amazing too! My husband absolutely loved the wings and my pizza was fantastic. They sell pizza by the slice too if you choose! Which is awesome if you don't want to commit to an entire pizza. The slices are really big too when you buy by the slice. Really friendly environment, fantastic food, and I highly recommend it
The pizza and other dishes here are excellent. I’d rate it around 4.2, but I don't want to bring the overall score down. Occasionally, the pizza isn’t as crispy as I’d like, so I pop it in my home oven on a pizza stone. Aside from that, the dough is wonderful, and the ingredients are top-notch. It's the closest thing to a New York slice you can find in Ohio!
This place is a gem. It never disappoints. We brought my son's entire travel hockey team here tonight and it was fantastic. We called ahead earlier today to let them know we were coming and they were very accommodating and truly appreciated our patronage. Will continue to come here every time we are in Columbus. The food was definitely New York style so very think slices and not a lot of cheese. If you like New York style it's great. The best thing was the people working were really nice and chatted with me. It may have been the owner I believe. It's a really nice restaurant just wish it was in a better part of town.
