I'd eaten here years ago and it was memorable for the wrong reasons, so I'd promised myself to be objective and and not reflective. Well I'm sorry to report that this restaurant has gotten worse. We arrived on a Friday night to a half full restaurant. This used to be a book a week ahead eatery. Demure lighting which I like, but the air conditioning blowing on us was unpleasant. Friendly service which was sufficiently attentive and no grumpy faces or attitude . But the food. My partner has the salt and pepper squid and I the house speciality, the meatballs. The squid was ok, a bit oily but the kitchen shouldn't have drizzled the aioli over it and it would have been better not to use caramelis...
We went on Valentine's Day and while the food was great the device and timing were not. They had a set menu and opened up their back room which they have for functions. This meant an extra 16-20 tables on top of the main restaurant of which the kitchen clearly couldn't cater for. It was a set menu and we were promptly served the appertizer of bread and salad. That was great but we waited a good 15 minutes for the wine to be brought to the table and then it was 90 minutes before main was served after seating. went last night for something different. food was tasty but over priced and under portioned. staff members were quite annoying checking if food was okay every 5 minutes without giving me time to actually relax and enjoy my meal before being pestered.ordered - Salt & Pepper Squid 17.9Fettuccine Boscaiola 22.9Penne & Pollo Pesto 28For these prices you expect larger portions, salt and pepper squid was 6 tiny little bits of squid about the size of a child's thumb (other places would give you 3 times this amount for that price), the pesto was perfect, but the boscaiola was a little under portioned aswell.taste overall was DELICIOUS.
Located quite close to the train station is this Italian restaurant. We've come here at least a couple of times every year. Food was average priced and good quality. I particularly liked their pasta and seafood (mussels) dishes. For special occasions eg Valentine's they have a decent set menu though pricier than average. The service was friendly and efficient, and they decorated the restaurant well. It was a little surprising to find Italian restaurant of this quality in this area.

This is a great cosy Italian place ...friendly warm family like atmosphereFood is very good; especially the Vegetarian Risotto.But very very slow service; had to wait for 30 min to get our mains.Price - expensive but that seems to be the case for everything in Sydney..
Decided to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant with the family and it didn't disappoint. Everyone had a great time and the "surprise" birthday cake cutting experience was an added bonus. Will definitely be back!
Group of us spent the evening for dinner and was well looked after with good service and nice food. The marinara had fresh seafood and the garlic bread had real garlic on it !id go again
Staying locally and recommended this place. A bit dark but the food and service were very good. Busy place even with other Italian restaurants nearby.

Very average, not very authentic, food. Needs to be more appealing, Pasta sauce, lacked flavour, pasta over cooked.
