Noticed the night before (Feb 10) when we came in for supper this BPs was advertising UFC 284 with some posters around the restaurant. Perfect I love UFC, so I came in tonight asked the waitress to put the fight on and she relayed that to the manger I think. Long story short, they didn't/couldn't put the fight on because she couldn't get a hold of her other manger to buy the pay per view event which technically should have already been playing on the TV since I showed up mid fight. Super disappointed as I was stoked to watch this and it was ADVERTISED with posters around the entrance of the restaurant, completely ruined my night. Boston Pizza is among the best eateries in the Emerald Park area. I've long been a customer but only now have I gotten around to reviewing it. Tonight I had the Black Bean Veggie Burger with Cactus Cut Potatoes and a Boston Bellini. The burger was very good. A mild, savory flavor and texture virtually indistinguishable from meat made this a very pleasant and inoffensive meal. The cactus fries were, as always, excellent. And the Bellini, while being an unfamiliar take on the recipe, was quite enjoyable as well.
We came in with a large group (15). I'm not sure if the staff are unable to deal with large groups. The food were served at different times. Most of it was cold when we did receive it. I ordered calamari which was over cooked and cold, chicken wings and a side of fries as an entrée. I received my fries first and about 15-20 minutes later the chicken wings and they were cold. Over all most of us were disappointed with the food.
I would give zero stars if I could it was the worst experience of my life. Never seen more racist service in my life. They should close if they don't want to serve people of colour. I will never again show them or any Boston pizza any support as long as my heart beats. I wish nothing but the worst to the workers of that establishment.
Food was good but the hungry carnivore did not come as advertised. No pepperoni, parsley, or parmesan cheese and the sauce was not beefy, there's hardly anything to it not even enough to coat the pasta. Tastes good though and was delivered fast thank you.

Good service with its ordinary moderate food. It is nothing against this location above all, it is that Boston Pizza I'm general has quite low quality food, which is also not overly cheap. I'm just going because my wife likes it.
