On a sunny Friday afternoon in February, we dined at Boston Soup Dumplings Pēng Xiǎo Xiān and ordered the Sichuan spicy beef noodle soup along with some soup dumplings. Both dishes showcased authentic Chinese flavors and delicious sauces. The service was attentive, offering jasmine tea and a tall pitcher of ice water, complete with real chopsticks and soup ladles. The staff was polite and friendly, and they even provided White Rabbit candies as a delightful after-dinner treat. Overall, we were extremely satisfied. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5. I had a fantastic experience at Boston Soup Dumplings Pēng Xiǎo Xiān! The food was exceptional, and the service was quick and attentive. We enjoyed the braised beef noodle soup, spicy wontons, soup dumplings, and Sichuan pepper meat sauce noodles—all of which were outstanding. The portion sizes were quite generous as well! The restaurant itself was bright and impeccably clean. I highly recommend trying the braised beef noodle soup, dumplings, and Sichuan spicy wontons from their menu. The flavor was decent, and the service was prompt and attentive. There’s a discount available if you sign up for Chowbus. However, my main issue was that my food was served lukewarm. While the dumplings were hot and fresh, my noodles were disappointingly cold. I probably won’t be returning.
