Went to sit in for some lunch. Food and drinks were tasty. The main issue was the service. There was only one employee taking orders, making drinks, and cooking, so everything was slow to come out. Not ideal with two toddlers. However there is baby changing facilities (including some nappies) in the toilets which is great to see in an independent business.
Waited half an hour for drinks in an empty cafe. After waiting 20 mins we mentioned we had a boat trip in 40 mins and would the pizza be ready we were told ‘you’ve got no chance’ by a young man. All the drinks and food were served all together after a 40 minute wait. The food was ok but I won’t be rushing back.
We stopped here this morning for some breakfast before going on a boat trip. My daughter had the stacked pancakes and really enjoyed them. I had a bacon roll and a latte. Very nice, especially the coffee. It’s a great cafe and I thought the prices were very reasonable.
Slow service today. May be a one off, a bit of a bad day, and we all have them. It was very very, very slow, to be told they lost our order! Coffee and food good however. Friendly and they sorted our issue with a free coffee. We would return despite the above. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Just found our new favourite coffee and cake stop. Best coffee in New Quay. Lovely café, happy service and DOG FRIENDLY (we have 3). What more can you ask for?
All great .. Only thing is wait.. The chap is on own at time which made hot food a while .. But we was happy with food and drinks and a nice chap ...
