Decided to go here for happy hour. I tried the red sangria and the house margarita. The margarita was good but the red sangria just tasted very watered out. The happy hour food was not the at great. We had one of the vegetable flat breads which was very plain tasting where all the flavor was coming from the sauce which was sparingly layered across the flatbread and it just added a sweet taste. We also tried the beef empanadas. The shell was overly crunchy and a little on the hard side where it seemed as though it was overheated or something. The meat inside tasted ok. I found this restaurant with just a simple Google search because I was looking for some place new that was relatively close to the Strathmore where I was going to a music concert! In looking at the menu, what caught my eye were the Short Ribs; I mean you can’t lose with that! I also liked the fact that their thing are ‘small plates’ which I love because sharing with someone allows you to try multiple dishes. We enjoyed the Crispy Kale Salad, Deviled Eggs (spicy), Short Ribs, and Grilled Lamb Chops! The portion size were perfect and my wife and I enjoyed sharing the plates! All were delicious and I enjoyed everything! I must apologize because I dove right in and forgot to take photos
the place had received a lot of great reviews and was thrilled to try to go. the service was not amusing, but they were busy. they were able to take our table and even offer us a high chair. the food was cold and the potatoes were very salty. there is nothing I would recommend except that they reassess their menu or try to eat before serving.
Every dish (and the service! is consistently excellent every time we dine here. I highly recommend the bacon-wrapped dates!

Botanero never disappoints. We’ve been coming here for 7 years, and have had events catered by them.
Nice place, good food and ambience. Staff is friendly and the beet salad wax out favorite dish.
