Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant this time was not the best. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I had to ask the busboy for the wine list. The waiter eventually arrived and apologized for the delay, explaining that there was a mix-up with our table. We already knew what we wanted to order, so we placed our order quickly. I ordered the Bottega pizza, which I have enjoyed in the past, but this time it was disappointing with very little toppings and mostly sauce. My husband's pizza, on the other hand, was well-prepared. It may have just been an off night, but we will wait some time before returning.
The food was outstanding as always. Too hot to eat on the patio (our usual choice) and the doors were closed. That made the noise horrendous. There was no way to carry on a conversation across the table. Food service was good, but I ordered a Negroni and my wife a glass of wine when we first arrived. I planned to sip it before dinner, perhaps with my salad, then wine with my pasta. Thirty minutes later our drinks arrived, about the same time as our main course (salads were long eaten). Their loss, I guess. We probably would have ordered a second drink.
On a busy Saturday night we never felt rushed. Everyone was pleasant and inviting we felt very welcome even though it was our first time there. We both felt it was worth the long drive from Cave Creek. The shrimp were tender and the arrabiata sauce was just spicy enough. We'll return soon to try some other dishes. Oh, they have music on the patio.
wouldn't recommend what they call Chicken Pizzaiola its more like chicken parm served on a wood serving board (never a good thing when you are cutting meat due to wood slivers). But they do alot of other things right ambience, pizza is decent and they have several dishes that are very good.

The food was delicious, but it was louder than usual which was disappointing. The wait for the food was longer than expected. However, the service was very good as always.
One of our favorite locally owned restaurants. We always have excellent service, fantastic food and great ambiance. Live the live music and the quality of the food.

The eggplant Parmesan is delicious! With the Mista salad is a lovely meal. The food and service are always great!
