Walking into Bottlescrew Bill's Pub is like walking into an authentic English pub. It seems intimate and has a delightful patina built up over the many years it has been here, but it never feels runs down or tired. Friendly staff provide excellent service, the largest beer collection in Calgary, plus a properly stocked bar with cocktail savvy bartenders make it a great place to stop for a drink or three! And if you need food, the menu goes far beyond "pub grub" it regularly changes with the seasons, but includes a wide range of fresh and health dishes from many different cuisines around the world.Although the first room is intimate, there are actually three rooms plus a weather-protected pat...
service was great! I had the dry ribs and they were delicious. perfectly seasoned. I also had the saskatoon pie that looked good, but suprisingly could use more sugar. just not sweet enough. the pub itself had a very authentic pub feeling for it. only something I noticed was when someone was was wasted, they could have a fun time with all random steps. total good experience. menu had a lot to offer.
I enjoyed having a Fullers ESB at this restaurant, but unfortunately, I had to wait for it to warm up in order to fully appreciate the taste. I recommend that beer drinkers try it when it's warm to experience the full flavor.
This is the best pub in Calgary. My only regret is that I didn't discover it earlier during the 6 weeks I spent here. The staff is friendly, with the bartender being the owner. It is a popular hangout spot for locals. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
As a neutral customer, I have to say this restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious - the orzo, hummus, and salads are all so good. They also have a great selection of beer and the staff is fantastic. Yay!
This is by far one of my favourite pubs in Calgary, the service is top notch and the food is fantastic! They also have a great variety of beer! 9/10 I will eat here any time!
Great beer options and good food. A little pricey though. It was 60 Canadian dollars for 2 beers and plates. But very good and service was excellent.
