Something needs to be done about the organization of this place. They literally have one or two people taking orders while there is a huge line and no area that people could go to where they can just pick up their order that they called in. Other bagel stores literally have a spot where you can wait if you called it in and pick it up. I don't understand what the point of calling an order in is if I have to wait in line with the rest of everybody else placing their order which takes forever anyways. When I walked in and asked where I could go to pick up my order I was ignored out right. Now you could say that they were busy and they didn't have a chance to answer but I asked one of them direc...
My family has been coming to this restaurant for quite some time, but I've noticed a decline in quality recently, particularly with the young staff. During my last visit, I felt rushed while placing my order. I barely got to finish before the server walked away to prepare it. When she returned, I asked if I could have salt, pepper, and ketchup added. Instead of sprinkling them on, she opened the sandwich and slathered the front with the condiments. It's clear that the quality and attention this place once had are no longer there. I've experienced other mistakes with my orders lately, but I didn't bother leaving a review until now. It feels like there's a real lack of effort and consideration...
If your pickup order isn’t ready right away, it’s likely because the shop is really busy. For seating, you can find plenty of photos online to see the setup before you visit—after all, not every bagel shop offers seating. If your bagel is burnt or your order isn’t correct, just let them know; they’re usually happy to fix it, though some people don’t bother to ask. Everyone should definitely give this place a try. Honestly, this used to be BY FAR the best bagel shop. I would drive 40 minutes away to get bagels here when I lived further away.Now? Some of the newer employees have such bad attitudes over the silliest things, my order is incorrect more often than it’s correct, and they stop answering phones/sometimes close their shop before their posted times.The quality of the bagels is super inconsistent now too : pretty please work to get back to the great shop you’ve been for almost my whole life. This is not it.

As a displaced Long Islander living in an area where bagels are more like small hard donuts—no thanks!—it was such a treat to enjoy an amazing bagel again for the first time in years at Boulevard Hot Bagels. I ordered my longtime favorite: an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese—delicious, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying! The coffee was excellent too. Thanks, Boulevard Hot Bagels, for a fantastic start to what’s sure to be a memorable family reunion. I’m excited to explore more from your menu!
The kid in the blue shirt who took my order completely messed it up, even though I mentioned three times that I wanted my egg sandwiches on a plain bagel. Instead, they put them in a roll. I made sure to go to the shop this morning when I wasn't in a hurry, and yet my breakfast was ruined. I wish I had kept the tip—thanks for nothing (sarcasm).
A nice place to get bagels. They were conscious of customer safety for Covid. Only 5 people in the store at a time. Social distance in and out. The bagels were hot and fresh, crispy. I ordered my usual everything with butter. Thr bagel was delicious however, a bit on the lopsided, uneven in shape. It still tasted great though!
Great bagels, they move long lines very fast, dont not go because you see it packed. Workers do their job well. I pass many closer Bagel stores because of these reasons.
