Everyone seems to love the Studio Ghibli movie playing from the projector. It’s a dimly lit restaurant which makes it a perfect date night spot. My partner and I went a few months back and sat at the bar (best seats in the house IMO). I enjoyed my spicy margarita and my partner’s wasabi martini was an interesting choice but surprisingly good? Clearly it was the bartender’s mini experiment as he rushed over to hear our thoughts on it we enjoyed being your Guinea pigs for the night. Onto the foodWe ordered some a la carte dishes that were modern/fusion takes on Japanese classics. Young, hip and cool if it’s you then the place is for you. We are returning customers and I love the atmosphere. The food is fresh and tasty but there is not much of it in a $75 per person set menu. This is a fantastic restaurant! I've visited multiple times, and each experience has been great. The food and staff are wonderful. For dining, I usually go for lunch, and the price per person is around A$80–100.
